Gregory Smith has an honest and true passion for Park Avenue Club and its mission of philanthropy.  His career philosophy acknowledges club management as a journey, embracing those around him with respect and appreciation. Grateful for an amazing group of members and staff, Greg considers himself a steward of the original Founders' vision of Park Avenue Club and the Park Avenue Foundation.

He is an energetic leader with over 25 years experience in club management, including restaurant and country club ownership. He has a devotion for high end club operations with a personal entrepreneurial touch. Greg is a Quarter Century member of the Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA) and a member of the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA).  Career management highlights include hosting a USGA National Championship in 2012.

Greg’s diverse club skill set includes casual to formal dining, banquets, corporate meetings, golf operations, golf course agronomy, facility maintenance, member and high profile charity events, fitness and instruction, retail merchandising, racquet sports, swimming, guest cottages, 24 room Inn, real estate development and sales, rules and regulations, committee and board governance, HR, insurance, accounting and finance, asset and risk management, service model implementation and training, marketing and branding, membership sales and retention, construction and property renovations.

He has worked at and managed private clubs across the Eastern United States, from Florida to New Hampshire.
